Ceramic, Glase, Brass, 5х5х30cm, 2026

The vase is cast in the shape of the inner root of a pine branch, which, unlike the root of a tree trunk, is not in the soil but inside the wood itself and is usually hidden from view. Thus, considerable effort was required to separate the root of the branch from the trunk. The root is equipped with a handle (shaped like the author’s hand) for convenient viewing, and the whole thing is a vase mounted on a brass stand.
